To-Do Lists

THINGS TO-DO

These are my to-do lists for the house. I imagine my goals and ambitions will evolve over time, so I'll probably update these often as projects change. I've divided my lists into TODAY (things I'm trying to work on now), TOMORROW (things I hope to get to over the next few months), and MAYBE SOMEDAY (things I'd love to do if budget and time were not an issue). Right now, I'm focused on the first floor only. Maybe someday I can get to the upstairs. 

LIVING ROOM

• TODAY
• Re-paint bad paint choice
• Find, buy, and hang curtains
• Figure out wall art and styling situation
• Stain end table
• TOMORROW
• Make prettier cover for air in-take vent
• Stay on the lookout for a better area rug
• Stay on the lookout for a pair of arm chairs
• Paint staircase and stair case wall
• MAYBE SOMEDAY
• Put up banister on right of staircase

KITCHEN

• TODAY
• Make curtains for the windows
• Stain window frame to match cabinets
• Find cute decor, wall art, and rugs
• Paint island white?
• TOMORROW
• Get pulls for cabinets
• Repair light fixtures that aren't working
• Get new hanging fixture for center light
• MAYBE SOMEDAY
• New back splash? Maybe subway tile?
• New granite counter tops??

DINING ROOM

• TODAY
• Hang curtains
• Figure out wall art and style china cabinet/hutch
• TOMORROW
• Keep my eyes open for an area rug
• MAYBE SOMEDAY
• Refinish hardwood floors

HALF-BATH

• TODAY
• Make curtains
• Figure out wall art and rugs
• Repaint and style shelf
• Get new toilet paper holder, hand towel rack
• MAYBE SOMEDAY
• Re-do the wall paper?
• Replace light fixture with something pretty
• Replace mirror/light with something classic and beautiful
• Fix hardwood floor

MASTER BEDROOM AND BATH

• TODAY
• Curtains and general decorating/styling
• TOMORROW
• MAYBE SOMEDAY
• Update the bathroom area

TV ROOM

• TODAY
• De-clutter!
• MAYBE SOMEDAY
• Replace carpet with hardwood floor
• Paint
• Replace laundry room and bedroom doors with sliding doors
• New Sofas and general decor

LAUNDRY ROOM

• TOMORROW
• Paint same color as kitchen
• Find old kitchen cabinets to hang to create closed storage

PATIO AND POOL

• TOMORROW
• Repaint deck
• Pressure wash and de-clutter
• Replace broken lights on carport
